Local writer Jonathan Griffiths’ novel
THE ROAD BEHIND
The book launch will be held
on Saturday 23 October 2010
at the Footscray Community Arts Centre.
The novel has been published by Varnak Press, managed by fellow writer Helen Cerne; Jonathan and Helen are both members of Western Union Writers, a group of highly creative, inspirational and productive writers which, for many years, has a close relationship with CAA.

First post war woman to be elected President of Werribee RSL. Cheryl was married to a Vietnam Veteran, and is now a war widow. For 14 years she has been a Welfare Officer with Carry On, an organization which assists retired and injured servicemen.
