The combined DGR/TCC status opens the door for CAA, a not-for-profit community organisation, to become an attractive partner for individual artists and other arts groups in applying for funding with a growing number of philanthropic funding bodies who only accept applications for projects where at least one partner is a DGR/TCC endorsed entity.
The first partnership has already been formed between CAA and “Forgetmenot Productions” (Geelong) for the production of the stage play “Daisy” by Terry Mervin about dementia; Alzheimers Australia has agreed on becoming the patron for the production.
